Driving across the country together to start our new adventure in Flagstaff, AZ. This is when it really confirmed for me that Nathan was the one. Even my mom, who has always wanted the best for me, supported our move after only two months of knowing each other. Seeing how much she trusted and believed in him only solidified what I already felt in my heart—he was my forever.

Made it to our first stop in Arizona—the breathtaking ‘Edge of the World’ between Flagstaff and Sedona! The view left us in awe and filled us with excitement to explore more of this beautiful state.

Camping together for the first time at Lake Mary! We brought a little tent, a hammock, and some snacks and turned it into an unforgettable night under the stars.

One of our many adventures down to Sedona, AZ! This drive quickly became our favorite, winding through the breathtaking canyons between Flagstaff and Sedona. Though it’s just 23 miles, the journey takes about an hour—and every minute is filled with stunning scenery.

Visiting the Arizona Snowbowl in Flagstaff! We dined at the base of the mountain and took the gondola up to 11,500 feet. The views were breathtaking—you can even see the Grand Canyon from up there on a clear day.

Our trip to Page, AZ, to visit Horseshoe Bend was absolutely unreal. The sheer depth and magnitude of the Colorado River carving through the mountains was unlike anything we’d ever seen before. Page, AZ, is truly full of breathtaking beauty!

A little day trip to Sedona’s Crescent Moon Park! We swam in the natural spring and river, had lunch by the water, and soaked in the beauty of a perfect Arizona day.

Nate meeting my, Dad, sisters, nieces, and nephews when visiting Ohio! This warmed my heart so much when he effortlessly blended with my family. We didn't take many other pictures this trip sadly, but the memories will always be there!

Back in Sedona, exploring engagement rings together for the first time—a special moment on our journey to forever.

We drove across the country again, moving back to Florida just in time for my Matron of Honor Emily’s wedding in September! Shortly after, we embarked on our next adventure to South Africa.

During one of our first few days in South Africa, Nathan’s mom taught me how to make a traditional braai (BBQ) food called a braai broodjie. It’s like a grilled cheese sandwich but elevated, with layers of cheese, tomato, onion, and chutney, all toasted to perfection over an open flame!

Here we are playing paddle ball with Nathan’s sister, Mignon, and her boyfriend, Daniel. If you haven’t heard of paddle ball, it’s similar to pickleball. We ended up playing a few times during our trip, and we absolutely loved it!

Surprisingly, I had never been skeet shooting in the States, but Nathan, his stepdad Etienne, his sister Mignon, her boyfriend Daniël, and I all went while we were in South Africa. It was incredibly fun, and I know we’ll definitely be doing it more in the future!

We made it to Cape Town! This is Chapman’s Peak Drive—the most scenic drive in the city. There are so many spots to pull over and take in the breathtaking views.

This was on top of Table Mountain! We took a gondola up with Nathan’s grandparents and soaked in the incredible views of Cape Town. There was even a little restaurant at the top where we enjoyed a meal with the stunning scenery around us.

Here we are at Cape Point, where the two oceans meet! We spent the day walking around, taking in all the breathtaking sights—there was so much beauty to explore.

Our engagement at Le Pommer! Nathan planned a private picnic where he got down on one knee. It was intimate, romantic, and truly the most magical day of my life. We didn’t want the moment to end. I’m so thankful God created this incredible man just for me.

Celebrating our engagement with Nathan’s mom, Natashazin, his stepdad, Etienne, and his sisters, Mignon and Moniqué, after we returned from Cape Town! We enjoyed a traditional South African braai (BBQ), making it a night filled with love and laughter.

Seeing giraffes in South Africa! We traveled to Limpopo to visit animals on Nathan’s family friend’s farm. It was such a surreal experience and a memory I’ll cherish forever.

One of our last photos together at the farm before I had to return to America without him. I came back right before Thanksgiving, and the latest he’ll be gone is just before Christmas. Counting down the days until we’re together again!
